"PEDAL PUSHER"
The artist William Petersen did a great job with the American colors: red, white & blue. "Mousey" wears red and white clothing – the highlight being his stars & stripes Uncle Sam hat. He is behind the wheel of a bright blue pedal pusher car. The car has great detail: silver handles, bumpers & grill, headlights & taillights. The wheels are bright red white-wall tires edged in black.

detail doesn’t stop there. Look at the bottom of the piece
to see the white artist & date of issue stickers, the
initials "WP", and the gold WFF sticker. A unique feature is
that William Petersen has also ETCHED his full name & year
2001 in the silver finish of the bottom. We can also see "Mousey"s
feet working the pedals.

" WATERBUGS "
Part of the MILLPOND MICE series, William Petersen created WATERBUGS in 2000 and it retired in 2006. Here we have a charming "MOUSEY "water
vignette. A boy mouse and a girl mouse lean from their red
canoe to watch a mini green canoe manned by three ladybugs.
Another MOUSEY friend hangs from the red
canoe, in the water, also watching the mini canoe approach.
The water looks sparking clear blue/green. This figurine is the setting for two "MOUSEY" friends doing Christmas caroling. The taller mouse wears a long red coat and a long gray scarf decorated with a sprig of holly. The shorter mouse is wearing a long green coat and a red & white striped scarf. He holds their songbook of Christmas carols.
A glowing lantern sits on the ground in front of them. Both mice are just singing away. Green holly leaves decorate the edge of the platform they stand upon.

PICKITY PUMPKIN "
Halloween is coming and "MOUSEY" is dressed
and ready to go. He sits on a white picket fence wearing
round orange pumpkin overalls, green & white striped
stockings and red shoes. His black "goodie bag" is decorated
with a white ghost.
On the ground beside the fence is a carved jack-o-lantern ready for the holiday. Donna Petersen created this piece in 1998 and it retired in 2006.
